Hey, guys... It's me again. It seems I'm gonna have to take a break from dA. How things are at the moment I'll probably be back in June or something... I really don't want to take a break, but it has become impossible even logging in to dA. The problem is this: I'm here in Bosnia & Herzegovina. Our landlord is a cheap bastard that got a lousy internet connection of 2 megabits. 4 computers are hooked on this connection. And it's not enough to open a page such as dA.
Before you start making suggestions:
- my computer is just fine
- I have a wireless USB network card/adapter
- clearing internet history won't help
- it's actually not really dA's fault. For holidays I was at home (Croatia) where I had 12 megabit internet connection. Not once was there a problem with dA.
- solving this problem is not up to me and MOST PROBABLY won't be solved any time soon because it can't be solved. It's B&H after all...

I already miss dA... It's a place where I come to unwind, to find inspiration, to enjoy beauty in different art forms, to share my work... All this kind of kills my will to create, I must admit... Plus, I think I'm having a bit of a "crisis" considering my photography... Someone pointed it out to me - I used to make better photos. And I agree. Maybe I really need a break...

If I post anything it will probably be on My Facebook Page or I'll at least try to manage my art account on here...

Well, as soon as I got back to Bosnia & Herzegovina internet problems started again. First, there was no connection at all. Now, there is internet but what is absolutely great is that I can open any webpage normally except dA. Most of the time when I open dA nothing is loading and when it is loading it's slower than dial-up. At this moment I have 2,061 messages + 2 notes. And it's just gonna keep piling up... Just great!
I'm sorry but at the moment I can't browse through your work/journals, can't wish you a happy birthday, can't congratulate you on your DD, can't thank you for watching my gallery, can't participate in contests and games, can't administrate groups, can't upload any new work, can barely reply your comments and write this journal entry. I can try but, hmm, I'm gonna lose my nerves while I wait for pages to load...
Don't know how and when this problem will be solved. Until then you can follow my new work at My Facebook Page. And no, you don't have to have a Facebook account to visit the page.
I will try to go through at least some of the messages, but I can't promise anything. See you soon hopefully. Stay well.

I'm so annoyed by this friggin' Bosnian internet + constant dA bugs. I can't browse people's work, can't upload mine, can't help out in groups...! This internet is so slow and I lose connection very often. And it's gone for days... And when this stupid internet IS working, while browsing through dA, there is a "periodical" problem where icons, thumbs or any images aren't loading. And it lasts for some time, then it works again, then it doesn't AGAIN...! Does this happen to you or should I connect this to this lame internet connection...? I ruled out a connection problem because this doesn't happen when I visit other sites...

I'll try to go through your work but temporarily I'll have to give up on uploading mine...

Hey guys! I know I've been a bit mysterious in my last poll. Actually, I've been a bit mysterious for some months now constantly saying I'm being busy with this and that not really saying exactly what it is. This "trip" I took this week was very important for me. For months I was practicing and preparing for an art academy and finally this week it was time to see if I was good enough to get in. And guess what - I got in.
I know most of you probably think I'm gonna study photography but I won't. I've been drawing and painting my whole life and that's what I want to do. And getting in the academy is one of the happiest moments in my life.
I'll be moving in 2 weeks time to another country to follow my dream. I'll try not to neglect dA and my photography. In the meantime I hope to be making some new photos.
And now I have about 1,129 images to go through in my inbox! I hope you're all good.
